A can full of apricot, nectarine and blackberries. I enjoyed this omniblend much more as filter than as expresso.

Teklu Demble, Kochere, Ethiopia from Gardelli, Forli

Tender grapes, intense Barrique, yet it’s not a Bordeaux or a Chianti but the amazing coffee from Italy’s roasting champion 2014-2016 Rubens Gardelli. Some exotic fruits and thyme in the finish. Lovely pick from The Coffee Vine Folks.

Microlot Roland Melghem, Honduras (Espresso) from quijote Kaffeerösterei, Hamburg

Christmas sweets season in supermarkets already started and shelves are filled with Lebkuchen and marzipan goodness. And there is one kind of Lübeck’s famous marzipan with a yellow wrapping and ananas flavor. And that is what this microliter coffee tastes like. Yummy but not for everyday and probably not for everyone.

Helena’s Secret, Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia from Right Side Coffee Rosasters, Barcelona

Herbal/jasmine explosion, soft apricot touch, pleasent mouth and just slightly whiskey’ish finsh. Great complexe but still easy going drinking experience. And a lot of fun in the cup. Bombastic when exposing all it’s oils in full extraction. Has really been a perfect aeropress coffee. (Also great just filtered.)

Bifdu Gudina, Ethiopia (Espresso) from Five Elephant, Berlin 

Velvet Shiraz acidity. Red grapes and plums on the tongue. Sweet and with characters. Mistakenly thought, I bought a bag of filter coffee and used it accordingly. Worked well but not quiet as good as the distinct roast, previously reviewed here.

Edgar Nuñez, Huila, Colombia from Norð, Oslo

Oops. Somebody put a Black Forest Cheese Cake in my cup. Dark chocolates trumped with cherries and both covered in creamy goodness. Soft mouthfeel. Smooth finish.
